Chakras for Beginners

Health and wellness are at the forefront of everyone's mind, and your chakras are believed to be in control of you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. However, the force of the outside world can disturb your energy, causing your chakra to become underactive, overactive, or manifest the imbalance as a physical symptom. We want to see all of our patients feel their best by having balanced chakras and I like to work towards this through massage, crystals, and essential oils.

Chakra Objectives

The ultimate goal is to balance your seven chakras so that you may live a fuller life. Instead of being bogged down by surrounding events, you respond to life with the power you have inside of you. There is strength, healing, and peace that comes with balanced chakras and at Healing Palms, we like to work with our patients through a combination of treatments that will hopefully bring their soul to peace and put their body at ease.

What does each chakra represent?

You have seven primary chakras that are located at the top of your head, between your eyebrows, in the center of your throat, at the center of your chest, your solar plexus, below your belly button, and the base of your spine. Each of these areas is assigned a specific color, crystal, essential oil blend, and is related to various physical aspects of your body. See below for a summary of the different chakras and the related counterparts.

How to Balance Chakras

Unbalanced chakras can present themselves in a variety of ways and it's up to you to know the signs. Some of the more frequent signs include:

*Please don't schedule an appointment if you have symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19.

If you are feeling any of these things, you may have one or more chakras that are unbalanced. What can you do to regain balance? It depends! You need to find out which chakra is unbalanced before you can find out what to do to effectively bring that chakra back to its center. One way we help our clients balance their chakras is through massage. We use various combinations of essential oils combined with crystals to massage your body, thus aiding in the healing process.

At Healing Palms, we believe in whole-body health. We want to help you feel your best physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually and we're looking forward to going on this journey with you.

In case you haven't heard we're coming out with a video series on Chakra Meditation. We can't wait to share it with you so stay tuned!
